Dancing Together at Hillside’s Family Dance Night

Hillside’s Family Dance Night was a joyful celebration that brought students, families, and the community together on the dance floor. This special event marked the culmination of our dance unit in PE, where students spent the past several weeks learning a variety of fun and energetic dances.

“There was a great turnout from the community and a lot of smiles as everyone danced together,” said teacher Mr. McDonald. “It was a great night where the students showed off their hard work from PE class.”

With excitement and confidence, students led their families in dances like the Electric Slide, Cupid Shuffle, Macarena, Cotton Eye Joe, and many more. The turnout from the community was fantastic, and the gym was full of laughter, music, and movement as everyone joined in the fun.

Family Dance Night is more than just a chance to show off some great moves — it’s an opportunity for students to share what they’ve learned, connect with loved ones, and celebrate their hard work in a lively and memorable way. It was truly a night to remember!
